Equivalent combinations of education and relevant work experience will be considered. * A minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience as a Power BI developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse and impactful reports is required. * Expertise in working with structured data from Tabular Models, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics as data sources. * Proficiency in writing complex DAX expressions and calculations to meet advanced reporting requirements. * Familiarity with Power BI security mechanisms. * Strong data modeling skills within Power BI, including structured data transformation and optimization. * Intermediate skills in Power BI Desktop, including using custom visuals, themes, and advanced interactivity. * Exceptional data analysis, storytelling, and visualization skills. * Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present to executive-level stakeholders. * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, maintaining professionalism under pressure. * Ability to work independently and guide and support others through collaboration, including assisting teammates and contributing to shared processes, to foster a high-quality, team-oriented environment that drives results, in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. * Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes. * Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality. * Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as needed and be available for off-hour support as part of an on-call rotation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, & Word), and modern communication tools for virtual teams (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack). The role is crucial in leveraging Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics as structured data sources to create insightful and actionable reports. The BI Report Developer will contribute to data governance and change control processes and excel in delivering high-quality presentations to internal stakeholders. This role reports to the Sr. Data Engineering & Report Visualization Manager.
