## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
 * 8+ years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership.
 * Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
 * Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to work under minimal supervision.
 * Experience in leading complex engineering projects and providing technical leadership.
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 * Familiarity with relevant technologies and industry trends.
 * Knowledge of flight management systems and avionics

## Description

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Program Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule., * Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams to define and develop flight management system requirements

 * Design and define flight management system architectures and interfaces
 * Perform system integration and testing to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards
 * Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
 * Support the certification process for flight management systems
 * Provide support and oversight to less experienced Systems Engineers on the team
