## About the Role

Do you have experience in System design?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; 5 additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree

 * 15+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 7 years in a solutions or enterprise architecture role
 * Demonstrated experience designing large-scale, distributed systems and enterprise integrations
 * Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures
 * Strong understanding of networking, security, databases, middleware, and application development disciplines
 * Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent
 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical senior stakeholders
 * Ability to lead technical teams and drive consensus across organizational boundaries
 * Active Secret clearance or higher
 * Experience in federal IT modernization programs or large-scale digital transformation initiatives
 * Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodology experience
 * Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Expert, TOGAF Certified)
 * Experience with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST RMF)

## Description

Anivas Tech is seeking a Solutions Architect to support our government agency IT operations. We are looking for a skilled professional with 15+ years of relevant experience who brings strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a mission-driven, high-visibility environment.
Requirements:

 * Define and drive enterprise-level technical architecture strategies aligned with government agency mission objectives
 * Lead architecture reviews and provide authoritative guidance on system design, integration patterns, and technology selection
 * Collaborate with government stakeholders, project managers, and engineering teams to translate mission needs into actionable technical roadmaps
 * Develop and maintain architecture artifacts including solution designs, reference architectures, and integration blueprints
 * Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their applicability to improve agency operations and reduce technical debt
 * Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to security, compliance, and federal IT governance standards (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST)
 * Serve as a technical advisor and escalation point for complex cross-system integration and infrastructure challenges
 * Support Agile delivery teams by providing architectural guardrails and participating in sprint planning and design sessions
 * Coordinate with vendors, cloud service providers, and third-party contractors to ensure architectural cohesion
 * Produce and present architectural briefings, risk analyses, and trade-off assessments to senior leadership and government stakeholders
 * US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
