## About the Role

We are looking for a confident Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer who has demonstrated experience engineering and maintaining environments and resources in cloud environments, leveraging industry best practices and toolsets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who combines their existing experience with a thirst to learn in order to engineer, deploy, and maintain quality solutions with a security-first mindset., * Engineering and operations experience with AWS

 * Advanced experience with Linux system administration
 * Ability to write and maintain complex Terraform and Ansible code
 * Scripting experience (preferably Python and Shell)
 * Knowledge of CI/CD concepts
 * Experience with git & GitHub
 * Knowledge of cloud security best practices and applications in a business environment
 * 5+ years of DevOps and Systems Administration experience
 * Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
 * Ability to thrive under pressure, self-manage, and prioritize activities in order to deliver to tight deadlines.
 * Ability to integrate and participate with a team in a remote working environment
 * Ability to deal with internal customers

What will give you an edge:

 * Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud
 * Experience with AWS Organizations
 * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes solutions
 * Experience maintaining and troubleshooting web services
 * Knowledge of CDNs and WAFs
 * Understanding of IDPs and SSO integrations
 * Recognized certification in cloud based environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
 * A "can do" approach to problems and challenges
