Digital Technology & Change is a new function formed as part of the I&C business integration and consists of t teams: * Change Management; responsible for project delivery * Innovation & Architecture, responsible for the digitisation strategy and the provision of technical data, digital and solutions architecture expertise * Digital Products, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of digital products via DevOps WOW * Engineering & Service Management, responsible for the provision and delivery of secure digital service, platforms and expertise to facilitate product lifecycle. Including the operational (day-to-day) management of supplier relationships. The Solution Engineer sits within Engineering & Service Management, and will be part of a wider team of IT & Digital Engineers that design, build and manage IT solutions and products for npower Business Solutions (nBS) which is the Industrial and Commercial arm of E.ON UK. Working on a principally Azure based landscape and operating within E.ON's Group Digital Technology Framework, the Solution Engineer delivers across the lifecycle of IT & Digital Products, that enable and support multiple business capabilities including sales, billing, metering, pricing and industry related processes The Solution Engineer will practise and adopt Product and DevOps ways of working and will have a strong hands-on technical understanding of several different cloud and digital enterprise level technologies, that can be compiled, installed, configured, integrated and securely operated to enable and support large scale, compliant and resilient, business operations.
