Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Familiarity with software delivery methodologies such as agile/scrum. * Prior software or platform experience, ideally in a Business Process Management (BPM) related setting. * Experience with functional design, configuration, deployment, and testing of enterprise software applications. * Strong background in relational database design and SQL. * Strong problem solving and design skills. * Strong communication and presentation skills. * Working knowledge in application servers, web servers, operating systems, and web application architectural concepts. * This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered. * Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal. Required Certifications * Appian Certified Lead Developer certification or comparable. ## Description This role supports the execution of complex, mission-critical aviation and national airspace initiatives within a large federal environment. The effort focuses on improving the safety, security, efficiency, and operational effectiveness of aviation systems through the delivery of modernized technology, data-driven capabilities, and enhanced program execution. As the Appian Developer on this effort, you'll design and build the enterprise applications that keep mission-critical business processes and stakeholder relationships running. You'll own solutions end to end, turning complex requirements into clean, scalable applications on the Appian platform and carrying them through functional design, configuration, deployment, and testing. This is a hands-on role for a problem-solver. You'll integrate Appian with the systems around it using web services, FTP, JMS, and other web technologies, keep a close eye on the user experience so the tools you deliver are genuinely easy to use, and collaborate day to day with an Agile team.
