## About the Role

Do you have experience in Developing and maintaining backend systems?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

 * 4+ years of experience programming in backend coding languages.
 * Strong foundation in computer science (data structures, algorithms, distributed systems).
 * Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional partners.

We prefer:

 * Experience in C++
 * Familiarity with Google infrastructure (e.g. Flume, Borg, Protocol Buffers, OnePlatform)
 * Experience with payments, billing, or fintech systems where correctness is non-negotiable.

## Description

* Develop, test, and deploy features for Waymo's next-generation offboard weather systems and infrastructure under the guidance of tech leads.
 * Implement and maintain scalable data pipelines for weather data ingestion, processing, and storage.
 * Contribute to the development and enhancement of real-time and forecasting weather applications.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering partners to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.
 * Ensure high performance, code health, and stability for systems vital to safe fleet operations in diverse weather environments.
 * Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and write comprehensive technical documentation.
