## About the Role

5+ years of expertise in Redhat Linux system administration or engineering/RHEL

-Experience in managing VMWare environments

-Infrastructure Design: load balancing, auto-scaling, replication, and encryption protocols

-Scripting: proficient in BASH, PowerShell, or Python for infrastructure automation

-Any experience in MES/manufacturing systems/process engineering system or semi-conductor or bio tech or electronic components manufacturing industry is a plus

## Description

They are looking for a system engineer to support their hardware R&D and manufacturing divisions within the infrastructure environment:

-Linux system administration: installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing Linux-based servers and application deployment,

-Linux System Monitoring: reviewing logs (journalctl), monitoring system resources, security and network configuration

-L3/L4 technical support, infrastructure-related troubleshooting and end-user hardware/software issues

-Provisioning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems and related

infrastructure and routine patching of physical and virtual server environments

-Technical assessment of new technologies

-documentation and MES vendor management

Main technical environment: Redhat Linux, VMware (8), SAN, storage, backup, scripting in Bash/Powershell/Python, manufacturing system configuration (such as Ignition)
