## About the Role

I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced RedHat Linux Engineer on an ongoing project with a government client.

Due to the urgency and nature of the project, candidates with active SC Clearance would be preferred.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have

 * Extensive, hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux in production environments.
 * Experience of working in central government/critial infrastructure would be preferred
 * Strong background with Red Hat Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform in enterprise environments.
 * Proven experience administering VMware solutions supporting enterprise infrastructure.
 * Ability to write and review architectural design documents for infrastructure and platform solutions.
 * Solid understanding of networking protocols and topologies relevant to Linux platforms.
 * Experience supporting business-critical, Real Time systems with a focus on availability and proactive improvement.
 * Strong communication skills, including customer-facing experience and the ability to write clear technical documentation.
