## About the Role

* Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
 * Experience with distributed simulation frameworks (HLA), and with system-of-systems simulation; experience in defence-related simulator development is a strong advantage
 * Experience with applicable NATO standards and processes, and/or knowledge of related process standards from adjacent fields (such as ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or DO-178B)
 * Strong skills in self-organization, prioritization and structured work planning
 * High motivation, proactive mindset and strong sense of responsibility
 * Outstanding communication, documentation and presentation skills
 * Willingness and ability to obtain required German security clearance
 * Fluency in English and German, both spoken and written

 * Manage and prioritize the software engineering tasks and backlog
 * Ensure the information flow between the software team and other stakeholders, working in an international team of experts from OHB and project partners
 * Monitor and control technical progress, schedule, cost and quality in close collaboration with project management
 * Identify, assess and mitigate software-product and project risks
 * Lead the control and evaluation of changes that impact the scope, budget, or timeline of the project
