## Description

DV Cleared SQL DBA - IR35 TBC - 12 Month Contract - Northern Ireland (Hybrid) - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled DV Cleared SQL DBA to join a critical programme within a secure environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a DV Cleared SQL DBA to work on high-impact systems, supporting database performance, security, and reliability across complex enterprise platforms.

Your responsibilities as the DV Cleared SQL DBA:

 * Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server environments within highly secure, DV-cleared settings.
 * Optimise database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and resource management.
 * Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies (eg, Always On, clustering, backups).
 * Support database security, access controls, and compliance with strict governance standards.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
 * Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to support deployments and upgrades.
 * Implement best practices for database maintenance, patching, and capacity planning.

As a successful DV Cleared SQL DBA, you will have:

 * Active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance
