You don't need to have done this exact role before, but you should bring: Strong understanding of data governance, information governance or data protection Experience working with complex data environments or multi-partner systems Ability to translate regulation into practical, workable approaches Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions A collaborative approach, with a focus on enabling teams rather than blocking progress ## Description This is a key leadership role at the heart of how NHS Greater Manchester uses data to improve care, services, and population health outcomes. As Data Governance Manager, you will shape and ensure how we use data safely, ethically, and effectively across the system. You will work with senior colleagues, partners, and programmes to enable high quality data use--supporting direct care, analytics, research and service transformation--while ensuring the right safeguards are in place.
