It is a vital operational tool that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, collectively monitor the battle, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapon systems to meet global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities that enable an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations worldwide and regionally to enhance performance. C2BMC is vital for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the current and future abilities of missile defense systems. The Solution Chief is the Technical Authority and Chief Engineer for Spiral 8.2-7, providing engineering direction and oversight to Agile Release Trains while building strong relationships with internal and external customer technical staff. This position requires proven communication skills, extensive collaboration in planning and execution, quick issue resolution, and a focus on building confidence and cohesion within the C2BMC National Team. As the overall lead, technical expert, and point of contact for the baseline on the Solutions Management Team, the chosen candidate will assist the Solution Manager in identifying, establishing, and integrating the capabilities needed within the scope of work.
