BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * A minimum of 4-7 years' IT experience; at least three of those years focused on IT security * Working knowledge with Vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Rapid7, SCCM/InTune) * Working knowledge with client-side End Point Protection Tools including anti-virus, firewalls, and malware solutions (Crowdstrike, Defender) * Experience configuring Enterprise Firewall systems (Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Fortinet) * Strong understanding of enterprise, network, system, and application-level security issues * Experience working with 3rd party managed security solutions * Experience with physical and virtual Windows and Unix operating systems as well as cloud based serverless technologies * Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Possess an industry recognized information security certification, such as a SSCP, CISSP, GSEC, or equivalent a plus Company equipment(laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse headset) will be provided directly to you for use during employment. ## Description The primary responsibilities of the Security Engineer include security system deployments, configuration, monitoring, and reporting. The Security Engineer will have a lead role in performing vulnerability assessments, security testing, and working with infrastructure and development teams on remediation and mitigation of findings.
