Be capable of learning new systems to a good standard. *Be able to demonstrate an interest in intelligence and/or national security and Counter Terrorism issues. ## Description Job Title: Higher Intelligence Analyst - Training & Development - Data & Analysis - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ Salary: The starting salary is £48,995, which includes allowances totalling £3,009. The salary is broken down as £45,986 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £54,863. Plus, a location allowance of £2,009 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000. Location: West Brompton and Regionally based - Job Purpose: Working to the Learning and Development Lead for CT Policing, the Higher Intelligence Analyst Trainer will be responsible for the production, development and delivery of bespoke training packages to CT Intelligence Analyst and Researchers. The role will also focus on the development and implementation of defined Career Pathways to support the Professional Development of all A&R staff. There will be a requirement to work closely with partner agencies, both nationally and internationally, to ensure the CTP network is at the forefront of analytical training. - Key Tasks: - The post holder will be required to do the following: *Design and develop national training programmes for CT Analysts and Researchers (including the production of a full suite of training course materials to support delivery) in order that staff are trained in the collection and analysis (using Structured Analytic Techniques) of information and intelligence when dealing with national security policing. *Support the development and implementation of career pathways for A&R employees within CTP, ensuring there is a clear and appropriate professional development process in place. *Act as a role model to both the network and other national intelligence organisations and their partners in the training of analysis techniques.
