## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in DevOps engineering.
 * Demonstrated experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
 * Experience automating cloud infrastructure.
 * Experience implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines.
 * Experience with microservices architecture.
 * Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio and Linkerd.
 * Experience with observability tools.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
 * AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
 * Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.

Required Education and Experience Equivalency

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 * OR 5 years of equivalent experience in DevOps engineering.

## Description

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and ensuring scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments., * Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.

 * Automate infrastructure management.
 * Ensure scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
 * Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
 * Utilize infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
 * Employ continuous integration tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
 * Maintain strong understanding of cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
 * Apply security best practices.
 * Use monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
