Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).

Minimum Experience Requirements:

 * 1+ year of experience in system administration of network-attached storage (NAS), storage area networks (SAN), email services, collaboration platforms, and enterprise file/print servers.
 * Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux administration, and virtualized server environments.
 * Experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Exchange Mail Server, Active Directory, and IT security policies.
 * Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize IT system performance in compliance with Army cybersecurity guidelines.
 * Familiarity with system backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and ITSM best practices.

## Description

* Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, including web, file, print, and mission-critical application servers.
 * Perform operating system upgrades, patch management, and security updates in accordance with Army IT policies.
 * Monitor and optimize server performance, network traffic, and system resource utilization.
 * Ensure workstation/server data integrity by evaluating and implementing appropriate hardware/software solutions.
 * Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT configuration database and system documentation library.
 * Ensure compliance with DoD RMF, DISA STIGs, IAVM security directives, and Army cybersecurity policies.
 * Implement access control measures, endpoint security configurations, and vulnerability remediation.
 * Regularly audit server logs, security policies, and IT access controls to prevent unauthorized access.
 * Enforce system hardening and network segmentation best practices to protect Army IT assets.
