You will ensure that these systems are always stable, secure, and up to date, fully in line with TNO policy and relevant laws and regulations. You will monitor updates, security levels, system performance, and the overall lifecycle of both the applications and the associated peripheral equipment and field devices. You will work closely with IT specialists, maintenance and service partners for security systems, and building automation specialists who work with the systems on a daily basis. You will support and advise these users and service partners in their operational duties and ensure that they can work optimally with the systems. In addition, you will work in a high-tech, safety-critical environment where your contribution will have a direct impact on safe, reliable, and innovative research. As you will also perform work for commissioning parties within the defence and security domain, a Certificate of No Objection (VGB) is required. This means you will first have to undergo security screening A by the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD). What we expect from you We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven functional administrator with demonstrable experience in the technical management of building management systems (BMS) and safety and security systems. You are able to engage with IT specialists, measurement and control specialists, and maintenance and service partners for security systems. You work accurately, communicate clearly, and feel responsible for the quality, security, and availability of the systems.
