This role focuses on developing and maintaining backend services and telephony-integrated solutions within a high-performance, operation-critical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python/Django, telephony technologies, voice systems, and experience with advanced AI voice models. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the evolution of call center systems and voice-first applications., * Proficient in Python and Django framework with hands-on experience in backend service development. * Experience integrating telephony platforms such as Twilio and Bandwidth, including working with SS7 adjacencies. * Familiarity with APNS PushKit (VoIP push notifications) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). * Experience with AWS S3 and building pipelines for voicemail storage and retrieval. * Knowledge of iOS hooks and mobile platform integration. * Strong experience or familiarity with OpenAI's real-time voice model (voice-to-model and model-to-voice workflows); high performance and cost-efficiency considerations are a plus. * Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills; confident in navigating logs across distributed systems. * Demonstrated ability to independently own and operate mission-critical workflows. * Phone systems background is advantageous but not mandatory.
