## About the Role

* Experience with Windows Server.
 * Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
 * Exposure to basic DevOps and software development workflows.
 * Familiarity with enterprise management of IT Systems.
 * Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
 * Attention to detail.
 * Strong oral and written communication skills., * Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
 * Active IAT level II Certification
 * 3+ years of Systems Administrator Experience, * Preferred: Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
 * Proficient with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)., While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

## Description

* Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Windows, Linux, VMs, and supporting software in an air-gapped environment.
 * Works with peers to support windows and Linux environments
 * Setup and maintain Windows Server environments to include AD, Group Policy
 * Harden systems against vulnerabilities and threats using automated tools in accordance with DISA STIGs.
 * Pro-actively recommend and implement performance and reliability improvements to systems and independently develop solutions to problems.
 * Train junior systems administrators in best practices and day-to-day operations.
 * Assist in the documentation of knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and work instructions as needed.
