## About the Role

## Description

VSolvit is hiring a Software Engineer to implement features and deliver high-quality solutions for DoD applications. Engineers will develop user stories, write associated tests, and support Agile development cycles with a strong focus on collaboration and quality.

As an Engineer, you will work with modern development frameworks, cloud environments, and DevSecOps pipelines to build scalable, secure systems.

As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

 * Experience with common JavaScript libraries (Angular, React, jQuery, Backbone, Redux etc.)
 * Implement stories from backlog using Angular, React, Java, and other tools
 * Apply Test-Driven Development and pair programming in XP framework
 * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git, Tanzu)
 * Support database development with MySQL 8.0
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous integration cycles
 * Document implementation in Confluence
 * Manage and optimize container pipelines within Tanzu
 * Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address POA&M requirements
 * Support networking tasks (BigIP F5, VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, SFTP)
