Include relevant experience, technical skills, and why you are interested in the position. ## Description Green Bridge Community Housing (GBCH) is seeking a proactive and solution-focused IT Engineer & Database Assistant to join our growing team. This is a unique dual-role opportunity combining Airtable database development and internal IT support. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving operational efficiency through tailored database solutions while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our IT systems. The role will involve approximately: * 60% Airtable development and database support * 40% IT systems and infrastructure support, Airtable Development & Database Support * Design, develop, and maintain Airtable databases to support organisational processes. * Build scripts, automations, and integrations to improve workflow efficiency. * Troubleshoot and resolve Airtable configuration and performance issues. * Work closely with staff to understand operational needs and deliver effective database solutions. * Produce user documentation and provide training and support for Airtable systems. IT Systems & Infrastructure Support * Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues. * Set up and maintain IT equipment including computers, printers, and phones. * Manage user accounts, permissions, and IT security processes. * Maintain backup systems and support disaster recovery procedures. * Monitor and support network infrastructure. * Maintain IT asset inventory and liaise with external vendors and suppliers. * Deliver staff training on IT usage, cybersecurity, and best practices. * Liaise with vendors and the Finance Team regarding procurement of IT equipment and services., If you wish to provide a longer supporting statement, you may upload it as an additional document with your application. * Do you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle? * Are you located within a reasonable commuting distance of our Sheffield office (S4 7JS)?
