Practical knowledge of SIP, provisioning workflows, and telecom service activation within central office or core network settings. Experience working with session border controllers, hardware installation, software maintenance, and troubleshooting across voice and data platforms. Familiarity with legacy TDM networks as well as modern fiber-based technologies such as GPON and DWDM. Strong diagnostic and root-cause analysis skills with the ability to respond effectively to alarms, outages, and service degradation. Proficiency with documentation and reporting tools, including Microsoft 365 applications. Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams. This organization operates a multi-vendor fiber and packet-optical network and is investing heavily in FTTH, transport, and IP-based voice platforms. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation, provisioning, and maintenance of central office and core voice systems.
