## About the Role

* 2-5 years of IT sourcing/procurement experience (software, SaaS, hardware, or IT services)
 * Experience negotiating vendor contracts, including renewals and pricing models
 * Understanding of software licensing models
 * Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
 * Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholders
 * Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
 * Experience supporting procurement processes end-to-end (RFPs, vendor selection, negotiations)
 * Basic contract drafting and negotiation experience (with legal support as needed)
 * Exposure to procurement tools and sourcing methodologies

 * Prior consulting or client-facing procurement experience
 * Experience working in lean teams or as a standalone resource
 * Exposure to global teams or offshore collaboration (e.g., India-based teams)
 * Strong analytical skills around spend management and cost optimization
 * Familiarity with IT categories including cloud, SaaS, and infrastructure

## Description

Insight Global is seeking a Consulting IT Procurement Specialist for a fast-paced services client in the private equity space. This individual will act as the primary procurement resource supporting a high-demand client environment, managing a high volume of IT vendor contracts and leading negotiations around software and services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong foundation in IT sourcing, comfortable working independently while engaging directly with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-moving, less-regulated environment, can manage competing priorities, and brings a consultative mindset to vendor negotiations and cost optimization strategies.
