Minimum 8 years of experience with 5 years focused on DevOps and CICD technologies & minimum 3 years of Public Cloud experience, preferably Google Cloud 5+ years CICD Automation: Hand on experience building CICD pipelines for GCP technologies (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, PubSub) or Bamboo, Bitbucket, or GitHub & GitHub Actions. Managing code repositories in Bitbucket, Github, Jenkins, Airflow, Cloud Build etc. Automating build processes including DevSecOps (Veracode, BlackDuck, Sonar etc) in SDLC. Experience with schema management products like Liquibase or SQL Server Integration Services 5+ years Automation & Scripting: Proficient in Python or one of the following scripting languages: Java, Bash, Perl, and PowerShell. 3+ years Infrastructure Management: Lead the design, provisioning, scaling, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, Terraform or Ansible, to automate and optimize Cloud and on-prem resources. 3+ years Technical Oversight: Provide technical leadership and develop automation for application development and operation teams. We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer for our Analytics Data Platform Engineering Automation team. In this role you will be responsible for automating the deployment, testing, and delivery of software in a fast-paced agile environment. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for innovative technologies and a strong understanding of continuous integration, DevOps and deployment (CICD) and/or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies. This is an opportunity to participate in cutting-edge cloud activation integration that will facilitate activation of data insights across Schwab in a highly regulated environment. Core DevOps, DevSecOps & CI/CD Ownership * Act as the technical owner, leveraging DevOps and DevSecOps expertise to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud data warehouse and analytics ecosystem platforms. * Develop automation and processes that enable teams to deploy, manage, configure, scale, and monitor applications efficiently. * Monitor and maintain the stability, performance, and reliability of CI/CD environments. * Automating build processes using GitHub, GitHub Actions * Integrate security and quality controls into CI/CD pipelines, including CodeQL, Veracode, and Sonar. * Develop custom Python based checks and validations and integrate them into CI/CD workflows to enforce standards and reduce risk.
