## About the Role

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Networking equipment (troubleshooting support)?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or equivalent; related technical degree preferred

 * 1+ years experience troubleshooting computer hardware and networking issues
 * Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on a consistent basis
 * Must be able to attend a paid training class in College Station, TX
 * Must have a valid driver's license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
 * Good communication and organizational skills
 * Enjoys providing EXCELLENT customer service
 * A+ certified and/or other networking certifications is a plus
 * Must be willing to travel, with overnight hotel stays, up to 10%

## Description

As a Field IT Support Technician, you will perform onsite installation and maintenance support on a variety of computer equipment, printers, and specialized Key Control equipment. Each technician is provided with a company vehicle that will be used to travel to our customer sites. Other duties include maintaining an inventory of repair parts and documenting your work through our service tracking system.

Some of the hardware you will be working with is as follows:

 * Application Servers
 * PC's
 * Cabling
 * Switches
 * Printers
 * Routers
 * Fiber Converters
 * Scanners

Training:

You will have an assigned territory and will attend a paid training program in College Station, Texas. The training is primarily a hands-on familiarization course of the equipment at customer sites and will also teach our policies and procedures.
