Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Program Officer, Instructional Design - **Company:** International Rescue Committee - **Location:** El Paso, TX, United States (Remote available) - **Experience:** Experienced - **Salary:** $70,000.0 - $85,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Office, Program Design Languages - **Published:** May 27, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=c3edc19e2b6a3770 ## About the Role Do you have experience in Training program design for professional development?, * Bachelor's Degree in instructional design, education, or other relevant field (or equivalent work experience and/or certification) * Graduate degree highly desired * Minimum four years of experience developing and implementing training, technical assistance, capacity-building, or education programs * Fluent in English required, both spoken and written; proficiency in Spanish highly preferred. * Proven ability to develop training curricula, help documentation and other support materials * Deep understanding of instructional design principles (including adult learning theory) * Instructional Design certification preferred * Experience contributing to program monitoring and evaluation (data collection, management, and reporting) * Experience with webinar software * Top-notch writing, editing, and presentation skills * Proficiency with the MS Office suite * Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment * Fast learner, creative problem solver * Experience engaging with subject matter experts and building collaborative trainings * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: ability to effectively liaise with colleagues on all levels in a multicultural environment * Familiarity with ORR unaccompanied children programming a plus * Employment contingent on successful acquisition of a Tier 2 Certificate of Public Trust government background investigation Working Environment: Standard office and/or remote working environment.
