This position requires occasional travel to support system deployments and installations at remote locations., * Active Secret Security Clearance. * U.S. Citizenship. * Valid U.S. Passport or ability to obtain and maintain one. * DoD 8140-compliant certification such as Security+, SSCP, CISSP, GSEC, CISA, or equivalent. * Knowledge of network design, deployment, and testing methodologies. * Understanding of the OSI model and TCP/IP networking concepts. * Experience with routing protocols including BGP and OSPF. * Experience troubleshooting network performance and connectivity issues. * Familiarity with firewall technologies including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Juniper. * Knowledge of VLANs, GRE tunnels, UDP multicast, and enterprise network architectures. * Experience with Cisco and Juniper routing and switching platforms. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications * Active Top Secret Security Clearance. * Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government programs. * Familiarity with TACLANEs, WAN optimization technologies, SONET, MSPP, and optical transport equipment. * Experience supporting enterprise-scale network deployments and operational environments. * Experience creating network diagrams and documentation using Microsoft Visio. * Previous experience supporting geographically dispersed network infrastructures. ## Description We are seeking a Network Engineer II to support a large-scale Department of Defense program focused on mission-critical network infrastructure.
