## About the Role

* 10+ years of database administration experience
 * Strong expertise in Oracle database administration in enterprise environments
 * Experience migrating Oracle databases from on-prem environments to AWS cloud
 * Solid background in automation and scripting
 * Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
 * Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and replication strategies
 * Understanding of database security controls and best practices
 * Nice to have: AWS RDS, Shell/Python/Ansible, VMware, monitoring tools, certifications

Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $45.00 and $59.49 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.

## Description

* Provide end-to-end Oracle DBA support including provisioning, backup/recovery, replication, and deployment
 * Install, configure, monitor, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases across environments
 * Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning
 * Support database deployments in both production and non-production environments
 * Develop and maintain automation scripts for database operations and reporting
 * Maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions
 * Support data replication and sharding strategies
 * Collaborate with infrastructure teams across Linux/Unix environments
 * Participate in on-call rotation for production support
