## About the Role

UK nationality, due to security clearance requirements on certain projects.

Demonstrable proficiency in SolidWorks.

Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical drawing standards.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

Experience with Tekla Structures, Autodesk Revit, or AutoCAD.

Previous experience in structural steel, mechanical engineering, construction, or a related
industry sector.

Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

## Description

We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Design/Draughting Engineer to join MVG
Industries UK Ltd at our Haydock offices. In this role, you will produce high-quality technical
drawings, models, and designs across a variety of engineering projects, including projects
with security restrictions. This is a great opportunity for a CAD-focused engineer who
combines technical accuracy, strong documentation practices, and collaborative problemsolving., Develop detailed technical drawings, models, and designs using CAD software.

Interpret specifications and sketches to transform design concepts into production-ready
outputs.

Prepare Bills of Materials for production issue and maintain accurate drawing registers.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to support timely project
delivery.

Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.

Manage design modifications and revisions based on project feedback and requirements.

Support design reviews, technical meetings, engineering queries, and problem-solving
activities.
