## About the Role

To be successful in this role you need:

 * Bachelor of Science Degree plus 3 years' hands-on technical experience; years' experience will be considered in lieu of Degree
 * 3+ years of experience in software development, to include Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) experience
 * IAT Level II with CE with willingness and ability to obtain PUA
 * Hands-on experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
 * Proficient in Python
 * Demonstrated experience with GitLab
 * Knowledge of AWS and containerization
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making

Desired Experience:

 * Hands-on experience with:
 + Kubernetes
 + Helm
 + ElasticSearch
 + Kafka
 + AWS Lambda

## Description

As a Software Developer on the processing team, you will leverage DevSecOps practices to develop in multiple environments, engaging in improving micro services in a mature data ingestion pipeline. Most work will be conducted on-site at our client location in either Bethesda, MD. Occasionally, some tasks may be performed remotely.  * Leverage Privileged User Access (PUA) for configuration management.
 * Actively participate in daily scrum meetings and other Agile ceremonies.
 * Utilize current DevSecOps practices to develop in multiple environments on a modern technology stack.
