This is not a pure development role. You'll spend your time on hands-on .NET work - bug fixes, configuration, and improvements to our Windows admin app - alongside operational tasks like onboarding clients, managing documents, and monitoring feeds. New platform development is handled by an external dev partner; you'll be the technical bridge between our team and theirs. The right person for this role is patient, organized, and comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders who context-switch frequently - someone who can take ambiguous, half-formed requests and translate them into concrete, actionable work without needing perfectly defined tickets to get started. This is also a role with room to grow: as you build trust and ownership with the team, your scope and responsibilities will grow with you. The Role The work splits across four areas: Operations & Data * Onboard new clients * Enter and manage documents * Monitor data feeds to integration partners * Build new feeds when needed Development * Maintain and improve our Windows admin app (.NET desktop) * Fix bugs across our broader .NET application stack Support * Be the go-to technical contact for our internal team and clients * Investigate and resolve production issues Coordination * Work with our external dev team on platform-level changes * Manage infrastructure tasks (SSL certificates, deployments) Tech Stack Primary: .NET, C#, Windows desktop (WinForms / WPF) Adjacent: SQL, REST APIs, data feeds & integrations, SSL/TLS ## Related Videos - [Useful AI friends for developers – building a multilingual app](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/622-useful-ai-friends-for-developers-building-a-multilingual-app) - [Fault Tolerance and Consistency at Scale: Harnessing the Power of Distributed SQL Databases](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1146-fault-tolerance-and-consistency-at-scale-harnessing-the-power-of-distributed-sql-databases) - [Rest API Antipatterns](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100208-rest-api-antipatterns) - [Navigating the Future of Junior Developers in Tech](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1280-navigating-the-future-of-junior-developers-in-tech) - [Making Documentation AI-Ready: Preparing Your Docs for the LLM Era](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100199-making-documentation-ai-ready-preparing-your-docs-for-the-llm-era) - [Fault Tolerance and Consistency at Scale: Harnessing the Power of Distributed SQL Databases](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1520-fault-tolerance-and-consistency-at-scale-harnessing-the-power-of-distributed-sql-databases) ## Related Articles - [Where to Find Entry-Level Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/397-where-to-find-entry-level-software-engineering-jobs) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [What’s the Difference between a Junior, Mid, and Senior Developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/238-what-s-the-difference-between-a-junior-mid-and-senior-developer) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market) - [Find a Developer Job: 12 Best Job Sites For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/165-find-a-developer-job-12-best-job-sites-for-developers)
