## About the Role

Do you have a valid CPA license?, Do you have experience in Accounting?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * BA/BS degree. Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred.

 * 2-5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, outsourced accounting, or a related field.
 * Experience with QuickBooks Online or other cloud-based accounting software preferred.
 * Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
 * Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
 * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
 * Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple client engagements, and meet deadlines.
 * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
 * Experience with payroll processing and expense management systems is a plus.
 * CPA license or progress toward obtaining a CPA is a plus.
 * Japanese language skills are required., * Bachelor's (Required)

## Description

* Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording financial transactions and maintaining general ledgers.
 * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and account reconciliations.
 * Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations.
 * Assist clients with payroll processing and related payroll compliance.
 * Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
 * Prepare and file sales tax, property tax, and other compliance-related reports as needed.
 * Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
 * Identify accounting issues and work with managers to develop practical solutions.
 * Assist with process improvements and implementation of accounting systems and automation tools.
 * Support audit and tax engagements by preparing schedules and responding to information requests.
 * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely, high-quality service.
