## About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Mainframe Development, Production Support, Batch Processing, and Change Management activities within a complex enterprise environment., * Strong experience in Mainframe Development.

 * Hands-on experience with COBOL programming.
 * Experience working with Db2 databases, including SQL development and optimization.
 * Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language).
 * Experience supporting and troubleshooting batch processing systems.
 * Hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling and monitoring.
 * Experience using Changeman for source code management and migrations.
 * Strong production support and incident resolution experience.

## Description

* Develop, enhance, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL and Db2.
 * Perform production support activities, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
 * Monitor and support batch processing environments and scheduled jobs.
 * Develop, modify, and maintain JCL scripts for batch execution and data processing.
 * Work with Control-M for job scheduling, monitoring, and batch workflow management.
 * Manage application migrations and deployments using Changeman.
 * Participate in on-call production support activities as required.
