Certification: BLS Experience * 1-year cardiology experience * 1 year pacemaker experience preferred #LI-KK1 ## Description * Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources, the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement. * Demonstrates support for the Tenet Corporate Compliance Program by adhering to federal and state laws, regulations, and corporate policies related to job functions, and reporting concerns appropriately. * Assess and reassess adult and geriatric patients with implanted cardiac devices. * Provides comprehensive follow-up care for patients with implanted cardiac devices. * Collaborates with other healthcare providers to adjust the plan of care as needed. * Assists in maintaining a current database for device clinic patients. * Knowledge and understanding of proper billing and reimbursement as it applies to implanted cardiac devices. * Assists in device clinic scheduling and triages patient phone calls. * Performs additional device testing and documentation as needed for A-V and V-V echo optimizations and clinical trials. * Competently provides patient teaching and resources (e.g., support groups, health fairs), and performs other office duties as assigned., Tenet participates in the E-Verify program.
