## About the Role

Do you have experience in Teaching?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field

 * Teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards
 * Level 6+ qualification in a relevant discipline

Essential Experience

 * Experience delivering data-related teaching or training
 * Practical experience using:
 * Excel (advanced)
 * Data visualisation tools (Power BI / Tableau)
 * SQL databases
 * Experience working with real datasets and business analysis scenarios

Skills & Knowledge

 * Strong understanding of:
 * Data analysis techniques
 * Data visualisation principles
 * Basic statistics and data modelling
 * Ability to simplify complex concepts
 * Strong communication and organisational skills

## Description

To deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for the HTQ Level 4 Data Analyst qualification, equipping learners with the analytical, technical, and professional skills required for entry-level roles in data analysis.

The lecturer will provide engaging, industry-relevant teaching, support learner progression, and contribute to curriculum development aligned with employer needs and current data practices., Teaching & Learning

 * Plan and deliver engaging sessions across core data analytics topics, including Data analysis techniques, Data visualisation, Statistical methods, etc.
 * Use practical, hands-on teaching approaches and deliver both classroom-based and online/blended learning.

· Deliver both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical skills using industry tools

 * Ensure teaching reflects current tools, technologies, and industry practices.

Assessment & Quality Assurance

 * Design and deliver assessments in line with HTQ and awarding body requirements (e.g., NCFE).
 * Provide detailed and timely feedback to learners.
 * Track learner progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
 * Participate in internal verification and external quality assurance processes.

Student Support

 * Provide academic and pastoral support.
 * Monitor attendance, engagement, and achievement.
 * Support learners with progression into employment or higher study.
 * Embed employability and professional behaviours.

Curriculum Development

 * Contribute to continuous improvement of the Data Analyst curriculum.
 * Work with employers to embed real-world data problems.
