Embedded within the Platform pod, this role focuses on identifying and resolving system bottlenecks caused by increasing data volume and transaction demands. The architect leads both the strategy and execution of optimizations-ranging from database tuning and caching to service architecture improvements-while continuously measuring and enhancing system performance. Leveraging AI-assisted development as a core practice, this role establishes scalable patterns and guardrails to ensure long-term platform resilience and evolution., * Designing and implementing scalability and performance improvements that enable isolved to reliably serve large enterprise clients * Identifying systemic platform bottlenecks through profiling, load testing, and production telemetry analysis, and developing strategies to resolve them * Establishing performance budgets, benchmarks, and monitoring standards that prevent regression as the platform evolves * Implementing patterns for multi-tenant scalability, data partitioning, and resource management, and sharing that knowledge with the broader team through code reviews and hands-on collaboration * Performing code reviews with a focus on performance implications, query efficiency, and resource utilization * Collaborating with product management and customer-facing teams to understand large-client pain points and translate them into technical improvement plans * Driving adoption of caching, indexing, and query optimization strategies across the platform's data tier * Raising the bar on performance engineering practices, load testing methodologies, and production observability across the team through hands-on collaboration and code reviews * Using AI-assisted development tools - including agentic coding, spec-driven development, and AI-augmented code review - as a core part of your daily workflow to maximize velocity and code quality, and helping establish AI-augmented development practices across the team ## Related Videos - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) - [Web APIs you might not know about](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/281-web-apis-you-might-not-know-about) - [Building Multi-Tenant ASP.NET Core Applications: Best Practices and Real-World Solutions](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1552-building-multi-tenant-asp-net-core-applications-best-practices-and-real-world-solutions) - [Leveraging Real time data in FSIs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/806-leveraging-real-time-data-in-fsis) - [Why you must use TDD now!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/114-why-you-must-use-tdd-now) - [Empowering Thousands of Developers: Our Journey to an Internal Developer Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1519-empowering-thousands-of-developers-our-journey-to-an-internal-developer-platform) ## Related Articles - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix) - [Dev Digest 139 - Soft and hard queries](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/487-dev-digest-139-soft-and-hard-queries)
