## Description

We are seeking a Journeyman Software Developer - Systems Software to support Computer Network Operations (CNO) mission needs. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with strong programming fundamentals who is eager to contribute to software development, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research in a mission-driven environment., As a Journeyman Software Developer, you will design, code, test, debug, and document software components used in CNO-related tools and capabilities. You will contribute to prototype development, support vulnerability research efforts, and help enhance operational software used in high-impact cyber mission environments.

This position offers the opportunity to grow technical expertise while working alongside experienced engineers supporting critical defense and intelligence operations.

Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for CNO-related tools and capabilities
 * Code and debug applications in support of mission-driven software development efforts
 * Support prototyping and rapid development of new cyber capabilities
 * Assist with vulnerability research and technical analysis of software systems
 * Document software design, functionality, and development processes
 * Collaborate with senior engineers and mission stakeholders to refine technical requirements
 * Work across multiple operating systems and environments to ensure compatibility and performance
 * Participate in software troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancement activities
 * Contribute to reverse engineering and technical evaluation of software systems as needed
