# c't <webdev> 2023

## c't \<webdev\> 2023: Three days of frontend development

Many frontend development projects today are slain by a bloated, client-side rendered single page application. But Sebastian Springer thinks it's about time to stop doing that. In his c't keynote, he takes a look at the future of web development, in which meta-frameworks shift some of the application logic to the server.

Sebastian's talk is just one of about 40 very practical presentations (most of them in German language) at this year's [c't \<webdev\>](http://Link:%20https://ctwebdev.de/?wt_mc=sm.academy.ct.konf_ct-webdev.blog_wearedevelopers.link.link). The conference brings developers together across the boundaries of individual programming languages and frameworks, giving them the opportunity to share everyday problems and learn about new approaches and tools.

Some more examples: Martin Oppitz presents the accessible and designable Web Component Library KoliBri. Martina Linnemann explains in her presentation how to improve the user experience when developing forms. Christian Liebel shows how to integrate large-language and Stable Diffusion models offline-enabled in browser applications.

The conference will be held on November 15 and 16 in Cologne. On the event's [homepage](https://ctwebdev.de/agenda2023/?wt_mc=sm.academy.ct.konf_ct-webdev.blog_wearedevelopers.link.link) you can find the entire program, including for the full-day workshops on November 14 about domain modelling with TypeScript, hybrid React applications with Next.js, accessibility and Vue.js. Those who decide to buy a ticket for the two days of the conference by October 17 will pay only 749 EUR. After that, it costs 849 EUR. Tickets for the workshops cost 799 EUR each.
