The public holidays range from New Year's Day on January 1st to St. Stephen's Day on December 26th. Notably, some holidays like Good Friday and St. Stephen's Day are only observed regionally, particularly in Alsace and Moselle​.

## Easter in France

In France, Easter in 2025 will be celebrated with a blend of religious reverence and cultural festivity. Good Friday, which is not a public holiday except in Alsace and Moselle, falls on April 18. Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, however, are public holidays and will be observed on **April 20 and April 21** , respectively.
