There’s been a lot happening here on our platform, with us getting brainy with Kate Astrid, a stacked Dev Digest featuring Thomas Dohmke and Matan Grinberg’s session from San Jose, and plenty for you to deep dive into on the magazine. Here’s everything you might have missed. ### 🔴 LIVE and Fake or News: Kate Astrid This week’s LIVE episode welcomed **Kate Astrid** , Senior Product Engineer at Cogram and speaker at this summer’s World Congress North America to discuss why [Your Brain Is Lying to You](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100626-wearedevelopers-live-your-brain-is-lying-to-you-cognitive-biases-in-development) and how we can combat cognitive biases in development. Kate also took on [a round of Fake or News](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100625-fake-or-news-wordpress-dropping-php-10m-on-tokens-and-claude-finds-cures-kate-astrid), separating fact from fiction to decide whether Wordpress is switching from PHP to Python, if OpenClaw’s creator spent $10M on tokens in one month, and whether engineers are making a risky bet that Claude will find an important cure. Here’s a look at one of the wildest headlines we’ve ever had on the show, and [check out the full video](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100625-fake-or-news-wordpress-dropping-php-10m-on-tokens-and-claude-finds-cures-kate-astrid) to see how Kate got on. https://www.youtube.com/embed/EeOJFE-Oalk ### 🏭 Featured video: Building the Agentic Software Factory **Thomas Dohmke** and **Matan Grinberg** took the World Congress North America stage with a big claim: the future of engineering isn’t writing syntax, it’s managing fleets of autonomous AI agents. In [Building the Agentic Software Factory](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100549-building-the-agentic-software-factory) they look at how teams can move from legacy workflows to self-improving software factories, and where the human sits in that loop. https://www.youtube.com/embed/5UhCfmrab7w We’ve also written up the idea in PASTE\_FACTORY\_ARTICLE\_TITLE\_HERE. And if you’d like to hear from Thomas in person, he’s speaking at [WeAreDevelopers Conference India](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/conference-india) in Bengaluru on **November 25th and 26th**. Tickets are at [wearedevs.in](https://wearedevs.in). ### 📰 In the magazine - PASTE\_FACTORY\_ARTICLE\_TITLE\_HERE: our companion read for the Factory session. - [Your Rollback Plan is Too Slow and How to Fix It](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/794-your-rollback-plan-is-too-slow-and-how-to-fix-it): **Alex Casalboni** on why “revert and redeploy” isn’t a recovery plan, and how runtime controls can undo a bad change in seconds. - After You Ship AI: 5 Signals to Monitor in Production: a guest post from **Aishi Huang** on what to watch once your AI feature is live. - Building With AI? Here Are the Frameworks You Need to Know: **Alora Frederick** on the frameworks worth knowing, landing on October 31st. ### 🗞️ Dev Digest 244 Dev Digest 244 features Lianne Potter on Forecasting Cyber Attacks with Glassdoor Reviews, Dr. Ralf S.
