IBM Bob: Built for developers. Designed for enterprise delivery. Illustrated Bob robot with a laptop and code editor.

Can AI help modernize legacy applications? Write meaningful tests? Debug faster? Automate engineering workflows? Reduce deployment risk? And help teams ship software faster—without compromising quality, security, or governance?

These are the questions shaping the next era of software engineering.

Join IBM for an exclusive developer takeover with WeAreDevelopers and explore what it takes to move beyond vibe coding and bring AI into the entire Software Development Lifecycle—from architecture and coding to testing, deployment, monitoring, and beyond.

Through hands-on labs, technical challenges, certifications, live demos, and conversations with fellow builders, you’ll get practical experience with the tools, technologies, and workflows powering the AI-native SDLC.

What You’ll Experience

  1. Build and experiment in hands-on labs

Get hands-on with guided technical labs and explore how AI can support developers across real-world engineering workflows—from understanding code to building, testing, and modernising applications.

  2. Earn IBM Bob certifications

Test your skills and earn certifications that demonstrate your understanding of modern, AI-powered development practices.

  3. Participate in Build with Bob challenge

Put your skills to the test in a hands-on engineering challenge. Experiment, collaborate, solve real-world problems, and showcase what you can build with AI.

  4. Live Demonstration

See IBM Bob in action as we explore how AI can help teams modernise applications, accelerate development, improve productivity, and move from idea to production faster.

  5. Beyond the Hype: The AI-SDLC

Go beyond the buzzwords. Join candid conversations on what AI-native software engineering looks like in practice, where AI is delivering real value today, and what engineering teams need to consider as they adopt it.

  6. Connect with Fellow Builders

Meet developers, architects, DevOps practitioners, SREs, engineering leaders, and technology enthusiasts from across Bengaluru. Share ideas, experiences, and perspectives on the future of software development.

  7. Exclusive IBM Bob Merchandise

Walk away with exclusive event merchandise, available only to attendees of the Build with IBM Bob experience.

  8. Early badge pick up
