Deepak Agrawal

Deepak Agrawal is a seasoned software engineering professional with over 16 years of experience building high-impact, large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure. He is currently a Principal Software Engineer at Atlassian in Bengaluru, where he drives technical strategy and innovation, recently contributing as a co-inventor on a patent application for dynamic AI engagement within Atlassian Rovo. Prior to joining Atlassian, Deepak spent over five years at Linkedin, transitioning from India to Sunnyvale, California, where he led critical platform engineering efforts with high-performing teams. His extensive career also includes impactful engineering roles at major technology hubs, including Walmart Labs, Microsoft and Goldman Sachs. Deepak holds a dual BTech and MTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the IIT Kharagpur(2009). Outside tech, he is a chess enthusiast, a proud father and enjoys exploring resort destinations and nature parks with his family.
