Requirements
- Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aviation & Aerospace or related, min. Bachelor's Degree
- Good knowledge in Python and Matlab
- C++ is required
- Software Engineering mind. over 3 years is necessary
- Aeronautical background and/or experience with simulators, synthetic environments and/or visual systems (Image Generators) would be a plus
- Agile Development Methodologies desired
- Interest in flight simulators, software development and integration
- Analytical and structured thinking
- Teamplayer and flexible personallity
Scope of Work
- Derive system requirements or user stories from operational requirements for new functionalities of Engineering and Training Simulation systems or subsystems
- Design architecture of software modules for new simulator functionalities (specifically for a new Visual Interface)
- Develop Visual Interface components and plugins (mainly C++)
- Create and perform unit tests of software modules
- Create tools for improving our development processes (e.g. code generators)
- Integrate the developed components with the overall Simulator systems and Image Generator software
- Create test cases and perform integration testing
- Documentation of the appropriate software modules Module responsibility for dedicated subsystems
