Model Design Engineer

aerodynamic targets Lead complete design projects, including CAD creation, project management, quality-checking, and documentation Continuously improve the functionality, quality, and robustness of model parts to optimize wind tunnel test efficiency Drive the development and implementation of improved design workflows and standards Collaborate closely with Aerodynamicists and Surface Design Engineers to ensure alignment with technical specifications Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to team capability and modeling best practices Ensure adherence to standard design practices and help refine them as needed Requirements Driven by high performance What do you need to bring to the team? Degree in Engineering, Design, Motorsport, or a related discipline or equivalent Expert-level proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably 3DExperience/CATIA) and experience in using FEA for structural validation of parts Strong understanding of parametric modeling, part

robustness, and model layout principles Solid knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, including composites and advanced digital manufacturing techniques Deep understanding of GD&T and its application and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Enthusiastic contributor to a collaborative, inclusive, and open culture and highly detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering work right the first time Willing to travel and work flexible hours during race season A team like no other.
