Job description
The AIM Life/Health Germany team in Stuttgart develops and implements the investment strategy for Allianz's German life and health insurance companies. We are looking for a Developer to join our Digital Solution team, driving the development of our quantitative portfolio steering platform. Embedded within a cross-functional department, you will implement cloud applications for every step along the investment value chain. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in advanced analytics, computer science, and modern technologies to the management of our EUR 300bn+ investment portfolios. Key responsibilities
- Design and develop applications for portfolio analytics and steering
- Create innovative data solutions to enhance analytical capabilities
- Use your expertise in data analytics to solve complex, data-driven inquiries related to our investment portfolio
- Present your projects to AIM management
- Contribute to the Allianz digital community with focus on knowledge and best practice sharing across hubs and teams
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science, data engineering, (financial) mathematics or other quantitative areas
- 3-5 years of work experience
- Programming skills in languages like Python, Java, C#, TypeScript, Rust or C++
- Familiarity with frontend development, especially using frameworks like Angular or React
- Proficient in Docker; familiar with Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is beneficial
- Interest in the financial sector and investment management business
- Team player, proactive, ready to take responsibility and drive digital transformation
