Job description

At MSV Housing we're committed to making sure our customers have good quality, safe and well-maintained homes, and our Repairs Administrators are key to making this happen. We are looking to recruit an experienced repairs or administrative professional, or an enthusiastic individual with strong organisational, coordination and customer service skills, to join our established team.

Reporting to the Repairs Manager, our Repairs Administrators provide comprehensive administrative support to the repairs and maintenance service, including resource planning, invoice processing and support across contractor, materials and fleet management. In addition, we are looking for candidates who have a genuine passion for advocating on behalf of people and communities.

What do our Repairs Administrators do;

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to enable the efficient delivery of the repairs and maintenance service, including resource planning and day-to-day coordination.

  • Manage ordering, invoice processing and supplier administration for repairs, ensuring accuracy, compliance and value for money.

  • Support the delivery of a customer-focused repairs service, raising repair orders, scheduling appointments, handling enquiries and resolving customer queries or dissatisfaction at point of contact.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data systems and records, ensuring confidentiality, data protection and compliance with organisational standards.

  • Work flexibly and professionally across the service, contributing to MSV's values, health and safety requirements, equality and diversity commitments, and positive team wellbeing.

Requirements

  • A good standard of education, including a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • Proven experience of working in a busy, customer-focused administrative or support role, ideally within a repairs, housing or service delivery environment.

  • Experience of providing effective administrative support, including processing invoices, maintaining records and managing related data accurately.

  • Strong IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and service or data management systems.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to respond professionally, empathetically and compassionately to a diverse customer base.

  • A structured, organised and resilient approach, with the ability to plan workloads, work flexibly and take ownership of issues to achieve positive outcomes., We're passionate about inclusion and we'd love to hear from people from diverse backgrounds for this role.
