Job description
Do you want to make a real impact and actively shape HR, rather than just being another cog in the wheel? As HR Process & HRIS Specialist - Automation & AI Enablement (m/f/d) you will enhance the value contribution of HR, design scalable and efficient processes, and continuously develop our HRIS landscape. As a sparring partner for HR, IT, and the business, you translate improvement potential into concrete solutions and actively drive the digital transformation of HR - including modern automation and AI-based approaches.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure the stable and future-proof operation of our HRIS platform (currently Workday)
- Harmonize, standardize, and automate end-to-end HR processes following the principle "standard before customization"
- Identify, assess, and implement automation and AI use cases to improve efficiency and quality of HR services
- Ensure operational excellence, high data quality, process stability, and HR compliance
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, IT, and external service providers
- Translate functional requirements into scalable, system-supported, and AI-enabled solutions
- Drive continuous improvement through KPI-based steering, monitoring, user feedback, and best-practice approaches
Requirements
Do you have experience in Workday?, * Completed degree in HR, business administration, business informatics, economics, or a comparable field
- Solid professional experience in HRIS, People Operations, or HR process management
- Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes and their digital enablement
- Hands-on experience with HCM systems, with a focus on Workday and additional experience with SuccessFactors, as well as with AI-based HR applications (in particular Microsoft Copilot)
- High affinity for automation, data, AI use cases, and digital technologies in an HR context
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with a strong implementation mindset
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken) are required, German language skills are considered a plus.
