For a leading client in the energy sector, active in the North Brabant region, TMC is looking for a GIS Operator. You will work as a technical specialist in a team that realizes large-scale energy projects and brings spatial data to life, from geographic databases to clear maps and dashboards. You combine technical depth with a practical mindset and enjoy collaborating to build smart GIS solutions.
What you will do
- Manage and maintain geographic databases and GIS applications within active energy projects
- Perform spatial modeling to solve complex issues
- Create maps, dashboards, and reports to make data insightful and communicable
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement GIS solutions
- Support users with GIS software and resolve technical questions
- Explore new GIS technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and process improvement
Requirements
Do you have experience in AutoCAD?, Do you have a Middle-level professional education?, * MBO/HBO degree in geographical information systems, geography, spatial sciences, or a related field
- Proven experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS (Online/Pro), QGIS, and/or AutoCAD
- Knowledge of spatial analysis methods and data management, including map production for various projects
- Experience with or affinity for drone data processing and management
- Basic knowledge of or interest in FME and AutoCAD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
