Senior Data Engineer 

As a Senior Data Engineer in our Data Solutions team, you will play a key role in shaping how data flows through our platform, ensuring it is accurate, reliable, and scalable. Your work directly supports the indices and financial products that depend on this data, making a tangible impact on the core of our business.

Your Tasks

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Build and evolve a modern data landscape that becomes the central source of truth across the organization.
• Develop and maintain robust ETL processes for high-volume data environments.
• Act as an internal advisor on best practices for tracking, storing, and accessing data across the organization.
• Support and contribute to the migration of data platforms to Snowflake, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Do you have experience in Software development?, * 8+ years of experience in software development.

• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with Go, Rust, or comparable object-oriented languages is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with cloud-native development, ideally on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of microservice architectures and distributed systems.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience working with Git-based workflows and platforms such as Bitbucket, GitLab, or GitHub.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Strong technical mentoring and knowledge-sharing skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with curiosity and a proactive, hands-on mindset.
• Interest in solving complex technical and mathematical challenges with a practical approach.
